Flower Pressing 101 ~ Thought I would give this flower pressing thing a whirl. Thank you @elaynewandler for this wonderful treat. I think I’m going to really enjoy this delicate past time. Perhaps this might turn into works of art…. You never know. We’ll check back in 3-4 weeks to see what they look like.

I am truly honoured to have been asked by the lovely @thecuratedhome.ca to hold a Styling + Photography workshop on Sunday, April 21st from 11 am ~ 4 pm located in The Curated Home Shop, in Calgary, Inglewood location. Join us for a relaxed afternoon, while I show you my techniques for styling shelves, surfaces and creating vignettes all over your home. This styling workshop is all about finding your “eye” My goal for this workshop is to shed some light into what I do in order to create vignettes. Capturing these moments can be done with either an SLR camera (basic knowledge necessary) your smart phone or better yet, both. Heavy emphasis is on styling, however, I will be offering “gentle guidance” throughout the day for photography tips to those that want the best way to capture their creation and need a little boost getting there. Ahhhh nature is finally coming to life. This “Common Snowberry Bush) is a favourite staple of mine, throughout the year when I need a touch of green in the house. In the autumn, it boasts little white berries (hence its name) and is perfect for making winter arrangements
