Well hello there ~ Hope you are all doing well. I have been having so much fun with my new kitchen rail from @goodsundaydesign ~ it’s not only a handy tool in the kitchen but it’s one of those places that I can create a vignette for the seasons. My husband never questions me as to why we have a dried artichoke or an old cheese mold hanging ….. he just knows that when he may need something that he actually can use, it most likely will be beside something completely useless and only there to look good. Do you have a vignette made up of things in the kitchen that is only for decoration and completely unusable? Although when it comes to photography, my new but old French plates and cheese mold from @jocelyn_kempe will be used in so many photographs. Oh and that pie? That was made by the one and only @sophiescosmiccafe

Well hello there October ~ Where did you come from

Well hello there October ~ Where did you come from so fast?! So I had some fun this year with decorating for Autumn. The pumpkins found a perfect place to nestle in amongst the last of my summer plantings. That ground ivy wrapped around the pumpkin is everything!!! Like a little hug …. I made a hydrangea wreath to replace the basket of hydrangeas as the basket proved too heavy and kept falling off the door. Then there’s Vinny ….

I’m finally getting around to clipping my hydran

I’m finally getting around to clipping my hydrangeas and ended up putting some in a basket on my front door. Not too original but it looks pretty and best of all Vinny can still see outside. Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Hope everyone had a nice weekend and well, hello there Autumn!!! As I was clipping some “finished” flowers from my arrangement of Anemones, (thank you @stoopsdesign for my take home arrangement after our shoot) I was noticing how pretty the little pile of “finished” flowers looked, even though the flowers were wilted, browning, losing their petals and all, they still looked pretty, scattered in a pile so I thought I would take some photos of it. It made me think that perhaps I would extend the invitation to see what your flower piles look like… totally random but if you have a flower arrangement that is losing its petals or needs snipping, I’d love to see your pretty pile of tired flowers. Sounds a bit silly but maybe I’m onto something. 😳

I wanted to share this cozy family home I shot for @homestead.designbuild ~ I always love shooting my client’s own homes as there is always that special touch and something a little bit more “hygge” about it. Thought this is a perfect Autumn home to welcome in the new season that arrives on Sunday. 🍂

Hello hello ~ Hope you are all enjoying September so far. I’ve been a bit busy with my shooting schedule but finally had a moment to reflect on a recent shoot I did with ~ Sarah, the other half of the dynamic duo behind @stoopsdesign Sarah has such an amazing eye for the little details and her garden shows off her love of English gardens and yet it’s so beautifully sophisticated at the same time. I love her use of different textured planters grouped together, throughout her yard, her potting bench and especially her pooch Winston. Thank you Sarah for such a lovely afternoon and delicious lunch. Oh how I love my job.

As summer is coming to a close, I wanted to make sure I share this “official” video, from our shoot for @westernliving . The combination of styling, shooting and working with absolutely incredible people “filled my cup”. Thank you to my friend and client, Bonnie from @gildandco for bringing so many beautiful props and helping me set the scene. Louanne, @tellyourstoryvideos your video reflects perfectly on how the day went, thank you again for being there to capture it all. Lastly to @lawrenmoneta for that tasty spread you so passionately put together for us to eat.
