This is 52. There has been highs and there have been lows but ultimately with life lessons and never giving up, these 52 years have given me the strength to keep pushing on. My family and friends have always been my lifeline and support to keep me going. After shooting weddings for 12 years, going to interior design school and finally combining interiors with photography, my career has been incredibly rewarding. It hasn’t always been easy but the people that I have had the opportunity to work with have been the icing on the cake. I decided to take on the challenge of getting in front of the camera this time ….. Thank you to my very talented friend, @jasalynthorne for your patience and putting up with my awkwardness being in front of the camera.

A favourite holiday wreath I made a few years ago

A favourite holiday wreath I made a few years ago was with Clematis “fluffy seed clusters”. Any wreath form can work, I found the premade willow ones are the easiest… if you have enough clematis vines, you could simply wrap the whole vine into a wreath. Once you’re all done fixing the fluffy clusters into a wreath, take some hair spray and mist the wreath so that the little fluffs stay put, add a ribbon and VOILA.

With the help of @sessions_with_sophia and styling by @the.style.scope, this home still inspired me, you?

As promised I wanted to share one of my favourite spots that we went to while in L.A. called @oliveateliers. I was in absolute heaven and came out of there with a cutting board, a clay vessel and all kinds of inspiration. I would’ve bought up the whole store if I could.
