Another snowy day on the westcoast…. For me, spring can’t come soon enough, especially with a trip to France on the horizon. Going through some old photoshoots, I stumbled upon this one…. Shot for @rodellhomes, Inspired by a trip to France, you can clearly see all the influence throughout the home. This shoot is certainly an oldie but goodie, I shot way back for the June, 2013 issue of @houseandhomemag and it landed the cover!!! Over 10 years later we are still seeing antique paintings and accessories that were used in this home, which are still very much in style now.

For the past few days, we’ve had the most beautiful sunshine that has brought us epic sunrises, sunsets and those crisp, cold days. I wanted to capture the winter light that poured in and casted these pretty shadows …. and while I’m at it, eat some blueberries🫐

The winter light has been incredible lately… The sunrises and sunsets have brought out some of the most beautiful hues of pinks and purples. Sometimes being intuitive with light, can be challenging on dark winter days so for now I will embrace this glimmer of light as long as it lasts.

If you haven’t heard of the movie Somethings Gotta Give and you love interiors, I highly recommend watching it. Filmed in 2003, it has not skipped a beat and will forever be one of the most influential movie sets ever. You’ll understand why there are bowls of rocks all over my house. Thank you @nmeyers for making this incredible movie, it’s inspired so many people and will forever be my favourite.
