A home that is decorated for Christmas “traditionally “ is always a favourite. It’s such an honour to photograph a designer’s own home and this magnificent home belongs to @jodiskulsky from @goodsundaydesign. Not a detail missed and a lot of Jodi’s decorations are special pieces that have been handed down from generation to generation, such as that beautiful Christmas tree. Lucky for the Christmas tree, Jodi has the height in her living room to carry on the tree’s legacy.

When the opportunity to be part of a collaboration with two very talented people, I was truly honoured. Working with @stephaniebrowninc and @nevefloral was so inspiring and a lot of what I took photos of that day has carried over into my own holiday decor. Although the home was published in the December 2023 issue, the decor and greens still stand timeless. I hope you enjoy this extended tour.

I’m all about the adventure when it comes to road trips. This one brought me to Victoria, BC, for a fantastic collaboration with @la_concepts at the stunning Akehurst Manor. This 1912 Arts and Crafts home is a treasure trove of character. I loved capturing its unique rooms and moments, especially after Lorena gave it a beautiful facelift. Fingers crossed I'll get to go back and shoot the kitchen when it's finished! A big thank you goes out to @cfinteriordesign !!!

Ahhhh another lovely home, designed by my friend and extremely talented designer Karla Amadatsu of @kerrisdaledesign. This space was just the tip of the “pretty home” iceberg when it comes to what we’ve shot in the past. Let’s see now…. I think we’ve worked together for well over 10 years and have nailed it when it comes to getting the right angles, lighting, flowers, books, vases, baskets, food, dishes, models ….. you get it ~ Karla and I have done it! I do hope you like it too.
